OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Responsibilities:

Sort and distribute incoming mail to areas and staff within the organization, and dispatch outgoing mail
Write business letters, reports or office memoranda using word-processing equipment
Answer telephone inquiries from customers, attend to visitors and assist other staff in the organization with their inquiries
File papers and documents .
Provide general administration support, to prepare reports, business presentation, agenda, reports filing, distribution, dispatch and courier.
With experience and sometimes further study, it is possible to advance to higher positions, such as office administrator, front line manager.

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of secretarial and office administration experience.
• Able to work methodically, accurately and neatly

• Strong computer skills in use of MS Office software i.e. Word, Excel, Power point and Access
• Good in communication skills.

PATENT EXPERT

[ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS (E&E) / TELECOMMUNICATION ENGINEERING]

Responsibilities:
Prepare and file documents with the Malaysian Intellectual Property Office (MyIPO).
Conduct prior art search/validity/invalidity search.
Preparing patent specifications (E&E, Telecommunication, and Computer Science).
Response to rejections (Office Action) & Correspond with clients and foreign associates regarding relevant due dates and responding to outstanding Office Action.
IP analysis including freedom to operate and invalidity opinions.
Liaising with clients and international attorneys.
Providing advice to commercial transactions and litigation.

Desired Candidate Profile
Excellent communication skills and should have aptitude for technology and customer orientation.
Good technical ability and solid drafting skills.
Attention to detail and thoroughness as important as a motivated and enthusiastic attitude.
Good command in English, both oral & written.
Adaptable, versatile and ability to handle multiple tasks in a challenging environment.
Candidate must be a self-starter, resourceful and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of the scientific, technical and legal matters associated with the patent process, which includes the preparation and/or prosecution of patent applications, the classification of patents, or comparable experience in the patent field.

Requirements:
3-5 years of IP Patent Prosecution Experience.
Prior experience working in a large reputable firm is strongly desired.
Undergraduate/Postgraduate Degree preferably specializing in Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering.
